Prime Minister Mishustin called for the generalization of Moscow’s experience in combating Corona

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin expressed his support for the new restrictive measures taken by the Moscow authorities to limit the spread of the Coronavirus, and called on the rest of the country to pay attention to this experience.

Mishustin said during a meeting with his deputies today, Monday, that the steps taken by the Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin and the Governor of Moscow Province Andrei Vorobyov are “a logical extension of the policies of the president and the government in combating the Corona virus.”

Mishustin called on the authorities of other Russian regions to take into account the experience of Moscow, and to study the possibility of applying similar measures throughout the country.

And the Mayor of Moscow announced on Sunday the tightening of restrictions on the movement of residents within the capital to prevent the spread of Corona, calling on residents to adhere to home quarantine and not leave their homes except when absolutely necessary, with the number of Corona infections in Moscow exceeding 1,000 cases, which represents two-thirds of the outcome nationwide .
