Russian Military Plane Crashes in southern Russia, killing it’s pilot
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that a warplane had crashed in the Krasnodar Territory in southern Russia, and the training pilot was killed.
The Ministry of Defense indicated in a statement today, Wednesday, that the accident occurred while an L-39 combat-training aircraft was conducting routine training flights, adding that the flight was carried out without ammunition.
The pilot who flew the plane was a cadet of the Krasnodar Pilot Military College.
The Ministry of Defense added that a rescue team had been sent to the scene of the disaster.
